Ten liveries for F1 75

To celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Formula 1 World Championship, a special launch event was held at London’s The O2 arena featuring all ten teams taking part in the 2025 season. Each outfit revealed their liveries for the upcoming campaign in front of a live audience.

Sauber finished last in the previous season’s championship so went first with McLaren as the constructors’ champions being the last team to show its colours.

Have to say, the best livery is definitely the Racing Bulls, following a rebrand from Visa Cash App RB. The while look is very similar to what Red Bull ran at the Turkish Grand Prix back in 2021.

Not a fan of the white engine cover on the Ferrari and yet very cool to see the number 44. So much hype is surrounding the Scuderia as the seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton is driving for this team in the upcoming season.

As for Red Bull, McLaren and Mercedes. Very similar colour scheme from the past year. Going to be fascinating how close the competition will be between these top trio.

Regarding the other cars which were revealed in the event, the Alpine looks nice with the extra pink and blue. Haas has tweaked their familiar black, red and white livery. The Williams is very blue! As for the Sauber, it feels like an Xbox-branded racing car. At least it was an upgrade from last year’s green and black stripes.

The best-looking is definitely the Racing Bulls. Very white and yet love the little detail especially the mini Red Bull icons at the back of the car. Stylish.

  1. Lewis Hamilton was greeted with rapturous applause from the fans when he arrived on stage at London’s The O2 as a Ferrari driver on Tuesday evening.

The seven-time World Champion has already been seen in Ferrari colours, taking a previous car for a spin at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya at the end of January, as he continues to get accustomed to his new team.

He will sample the 2025 model later this week, when the Scuderia complete their shakedown before heading to Bahrain for pre-season testing.

So, how is Hamilton feeling as he gets used to life at his new team?

“It’s such a great night to be here amongst all of you,” Hamilton began, speaking to thousands of fans gathered around him, before picking a word for the year ahead.

“I think the word I’m thinking of is invigorated. I feel so full of life, and so much energy, because everything’s new. I’m just focused on what’s up ahead. I’m so proud to be a part of the team, something new and exciting for me.”

  2. Max Verstappen has hailed his new team mate Liam Lawson following his promotion to Red Bull, as the Dutchman predicted another closely-fought season in 2025.

After the Milton Keynes outfit lost points to both McLaren and Ferrari in last year’s Constructors’ battle, it was announced that Lawson would step up to replace the struggling Sergio Perez, who had parted ways with the team.

The Kiwi is one of six drivers making their full-time debut in F1 when the paddock heads to Melbourne, but he already has 11 races under his belt after he replaced Daniel Ricciardo twice – temporarily when the Australian damaged his wrist in 2023, and on a more permanent basis in the latter races of 2024.

He impressed in both instances, demonstrating his fearless attitude to engaging in on-track duels and finishing in the points on three occasions at the midfield Racing Bulls team.

It was widely reported that Yuki Tsunoda – Lawson’s team mate at the time – was the other favourite to take the vacant Red Bull seat, but the team opted to give the slightly younger driver the opportunity.

Verstappen expressed admiration for the decision ahead of F1 75 Live, albeit emphasising that the duo have not spent much time together when it comes to talking about the intricacies of their car.

“We’ve seen each other at the photo shoots,” he said. “I’m sure it’s going to be fine – I’ve seen Liam grow throughout the junior team and he fully deserves his shot with the team.

“I’m excited to work together and have a great season again.”
