From that initial spy shot as revealed by Autosport, the first official day of Formula One testing in Valencia has allow us the unique opportunity to see the latest creation from Williams up close and personal.
Just like the previous 2010 cars, the Williams FW32 features a high nose but with some distinctively narrow struts from which the front wing is suspended. In addition, a second air intake can be seen behind the main one.
Rubens Barrichello and GP2 champion Nico Hulkenburg will carry out the testing duties as Williams set out to improve their seventh place finish last season.
Lets see how fast this new Cosworth-powered car can do when compared to the others in this week’s testing.

Ferrari’s Felipe Massa is the fastest in the morning session of official Formula One testing at Valencia. The times between the top six cars are quite close. As for Toro Rosso, the new STR5 seems to be having some problems.

Felipe Massa ends the first day of testing with the quickest time in the new Ferrari F10. Sauber’s Pedro de la Rosa was a surprising second with the returning world champion Michael Schumacher posting the third fastest time edging ahead of his Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg.

Massa and Ferrari maintains its status with the quickest car during the second day of testing. The Sauber continues to impress with Kamui Kobayashi setting the second fastest time ahead of Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren.

Fernando Alonso kept up Ferrari’s impressive testing record with the fastest lap around Valencia. That means the F10 is the car to beat this season, although the double world champion says he is staying very cautious about Ferrari’s form despite the Italian squad dominating the first test of the year at Valencia this week.
